Seeing the world through the eyes of camels – that is a special privilege. Our two Bactrian camels radiate a particularly calming presence; they ground us and slow us down.
For a harmonious coexistence to work well, the camel's counterpart must always be one step ahead. This sharpens the senses and prepares them for new situations.
Camels, or rather Bactrian camels, fascinate with their unique nature.
Our two big ones
Nojan and Akai joined our family in 2018 at the ages of 2.5 and 3. They have since become wonderful hiking companions. Both young and old can ride them.

The adolescents
Amira and Shanti are our two "teenagers". They moved in with us in 2021 when they were 2.5 years old.
Both are well-trained. We also take them hiking and work them in the round pen. Amira and Shanti also love being petted – our cuddly ponies!
Children can already ride them. Adults will have to wait until Amira and Shanti are fully grown at 7 years old.

The new ones
Sahira and Luise have also been with us since July 2023. Like Nojan and Akai, they come from Baden-Württemberg and still have everything to learn. They came to us when they were 1.5 years old.
We are thrilled with how well Luise and Sahira have already learned to walk on a halter. They trust us, and we trust them. This will be a wonderful partnership!
