Our draft horses Theo & Bazi are currently in training. They will gladly pull you in the carriage once they have had plenty of practice.
When you're sitting in a horse-drawn carriage, you really notice how fast everything around you moves. The cars whizzing by. The distances you'd normally cover in no time. In a carriage, things move slowly. You can perceive the nature around you differently. Time with loved ones becomes precious, and conversations are possible. Embrace this slower pace and enjoy life.
New horses, new luck.
Sadly, in 2023 we had to say goodbye to our long-time carriage horses, Wiggerl and Wotan. They were always loyal companions and we will always cherish their memory. They never let us down and brought much joy to the faces of us and our visitors.
Theo and Bazi, two Noriker horses, joined our family in November 2023 at the age of 2.5. They are currently undergoing intensive training and are doing very well!
We will be able to offer carriage rides again from 2025!
